Global Citizenship

For some, being a "global citizen" means having lived in a number of different countries, or having multiple country citizenships. For others, it means working to save the planet from destructive natural or human forces. For still others, it means helping to make the world a safer, healthier and happier place for as many – or as few – people as can be served.

For us, being a "global citizen" means being committed to understanding and celebrating other places, cultures and values, which ultimately create a mosaic of commonality that defines what it means to be "human". We believe that we have a responsibility to be global citizens, and that this responsibility is best served through peaceful engagement, rather than fear or enmity. And we believe that through travel, personal interaction, education and technology, we can learn from others and in so doing, evolve as individuals. This is our personal "passage".
