About PassagesTake a passage across lands, cultures and time at our internationally accented, historic Pennsylvania bed and breakfast, Passages Inn Gettysburg. Our lodging accommodations consist of three large, second floor guestrooms, each furnished with antiques, with an exquisitely comfortable queen bed, private bathroom, cable TV and A/C, wing chairs and rockers, and its own international motif. There is also a small game room where guests are welcome to play cards, Scrabble, chess (on a handmade needlepointed board with hand-carved pieces from England) and even the traditional and still widely popular Kiswahili game, "Bao".
You're invited to relax or socialize in the guest parlor, which has artifacts from around the world and a large built-in bookcase from which you may borrow reading materials during your stay. Originally from California, Passages Inn Gettysburg innkeepers Paulette Lee and Gary Froseth have been married 30 years and have lived in California, Indiana, Pittsburgh and Harrisburg, PA, Gaithersburg, MD, and now are back in Pennsylvania to operate the B&B. Paulette is an international development communications specialist who speaks French and has lived and worked in Africa (Ethiopia and Rwanda). Gary is a lifelong broadcast journalist with an avid interest in aviation and rail transportation. In addition to foreign affairs and travel, the couple share a love of art, theater, and dance.
